ABOUT
Based in Orange County, CA, Definitely Dance, Inc. is an organization dedicated to creating a fun-filled, inspiring experience for seniors and people with disabilities through the art of ballroom dance. We help individuals with a wide array of disabilities, injuries, and/or degenerative diseases learn exciting techniques, steps and choreography. Dancing is an incredibly powerful, therapeutic activity, and we believe our classes offer a great opportunity for all types of recovery and rehabilitation.

MEET THE TEAM
Mandy Mykitta
President/CEO
Mandy is our lead ballroom instructor who also teaches private dance lessons through her Huntington Beach-based business, Surf City Ballroom. She has had a passion for working with individuals with special needs and disabilities for years and is proud to be a part of Definitely Dance, Inc.
Kim Mykitta
Social Media Coordinator
Kim is a copywriter and blogger with years of experience in the digital marketing industry. She is proud to help spread the word and promote the inspiring cause behind Definitely Dance through social media.
Bonnie Ahrens
Chairperson of the Board
A lifelong resident of Huntington Beach, Bonnie works as an agent at Star Real Estate. Her involvement with Definitely Dance is a way of giving to the community and is fueled by her love for the Oranger County area and the people who call it home.
Angela Singletary
Board Member
Angela has three children and four grandchildren and is an accountant who currently works for H&R Block. She also has extensive experience in education, music, and the arts. Her involvement with Definitely Dance has provided an exciting opportunity to contribute to spreading her passion for artistic expression to the special needs community.
Joseph Sifferd
Board Member
Joseph is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN with degrees in music performance and political science. He is also a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and currently practices with the law offices of Poindexter & Doutre, Inc. in LA, CA. Joseph works with several charities in his legal practice and is excited to contribute to the development and growth of Definitely Dance.
Tamara Baldwin
Board Member
Tamara has home-educated her four children and now works with her husband in their family business, Baldwin Investments. As a parent of an adult who deals with learning challenges, she brings unique insights to the board. Tamara and her husband also love to dance!
VOLUNTEER
If you’re interested in volunteering, we have plenty of opportunities for you! In our classes, you’ll be paired up, one-on-one, with a student to dance with.
Don’t know how to dance? Don’t worry! No dance experience needed. We’ll teach you everything you need to know to be a successful dance volunteer! Plus, training is FREE!
